LÉON BECKX has a professional background as psychologist and is lead-trainer of Diversity Joy, an NGO offering training programs on community development and conflict resolution. He has worked in schools, universities, asylum seeker centers, theaters and deprived neighborhoods, helping others to become facilitators. Léon also works as conscious dance teacher: he was certified as a 5Rhythms teacher in 2008 and expanded his dance practice since with Somatics, Contact Improvisation, Instant Composition, martial arts and theater. His experience as ceremony leader of Ecstatic Dance Amsterdam along with nature immersion in Sweden (2014-2016) have shown him that the seeds of eco-ecstatic culture are germinating. SARA EENHOORN is an experienced outdoor guide, working for Otro Elements and Nature Quest. “After high school, my biggest question was: who am I? I learned a lot at school, but little about who I was. This question raised a deep desire for traveling in me and that is also what I started doing. While traveling, I came across my biggest dreams, while I also encountered fears and insecurities. Traveling to me means freedom and spirituality. Wild Earth, Wild soul embodies all of this for me. In a short time you journey back to yourself and your roots, while in the meantime you learn to play with reality as is unfolding here and now. Playfulness and having fun are key to me. During the retreat, I will share my knowledge of systemic observation with you, in addition to body work, and I will gladly take you on an adventure into the Dutch wilderness”.

PETER LUIJTEN took part in Bill’s Wild Earth Intensive in the US: “to me it was both deeply transformational and full of joy”. Peter worked as consultant and policy officer for EU education programs. He is an experienced group facilitator. In this role he has been volunteering to the Center for Human Emergence, a global community of societal innovators. Peter loves (ecstatic) dancing and DJ-ing, as well as long walks in the forest. He has been trained as shamanic practitioner, following the Siberian tradition. Central thread in all of this is ‘re-membering’ ancient knowhow: there is a lot of healing as well as joy to be found when we wake up the primal - or indigenous - parts of ourselves.
